Sionach is the fox in Gaelic. It is painted by hand on handmade paper and the penwork follows the line of the pattern flow in the paper. Size approx 15cms square.

One only part of a collection of miniatures by artist Morgan Fitzsimons an international wild life and fantasy artist.

This Go Wild Collection was created to promote planet awareness and the beauty of our endangered natural environment. It is is the basis for creativity.
It includes the Go Wild Imagine Collection, showing my basis of creative inspiration extends from nature into the realms of my fantasy characters and stories, colouring my dreams from which come all things new.

Each subject is different, and the paper is different, both created by hand. The paintings are made with brush and pen, watercolour and gouache, the papers gathered from people in different parts of the world preserving the old ways of making paper with as little damage to the environment as possible. The papers differ, and some surfaces are harder to work on than others with a spongy highly absorbent surface needing careful use of brush and pen.

The image can be placed behind a natural colour mount to fit a larger standard size frame or trimmed to fit one you have already.
