Go Wild Imagine Collection: Spirit of the Wolf

Very much a miniature painting in Watercolour and pen. Painted on a left over piece of handmade paper approx A5 size incorporating the marbled effect of the dyes used in the paper, into the painting. It need a technique developing as the paper is highly absorbent and could be scratched by the pen. It is similar to a full painting called the Wolf Path. Although I have not used the entire piece for the painting I have not cut it down but left it for the buyer to fit to any frame they may have, It would benefit form a cream or autumn colour mount.

Each subject is different and the paper is different, both created by hand. The paintings are made with brush and pen, watercolour and gouache, the papers gathered from people in different parts of the world preserving the old ways of making paper with as little damage to the environment as possible.

The image can be mounted on a background paper to show the deckle edge, to fit a standard frame size to stand on a desk or hang on a wall in a group or you can collect in a post card collecting book or in a special journal you create yourself. It can make a special gift for someone who loves nature or fantasy art.

It is painted on paper from Etsy seller InkFantasy made by hand and a leftover piece from other work.
